Alumni Connection

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The 17^th Wharton Africa Business Forum (‘WABF”) is is quickly approaching. Over the years, WASA members succeeded in positioning WABF as a premiere business school event for both professionals and students. WABF has also been a major brand building event for our school targeting both prospective students and potential business partners interested in Africa.

This year, we have planned an Alumni Brunch for you on Sunday, November 8th. We plan to have speakers from our dinstinguished Alumni and will be presenting the WABF Alumni Award to one of you.

We would like the upcoming edition to build on the momentum of the preceding ones and continue the tradition of excellence. Our alumni community has been a great support in the past and we would like to involve them even more in the planning process this year. Particularly, we are seeking your support in any of the following areas:

• Feedback or suggestion on the content, speakers or organization of the conference;
• Nominations of an alum for the WABF Alumni Award 2009: an award that recognizes the personal achievement of the Alum and his contribution to the development of our continent;
• Marketing of the conference and outreach to your fellow alumni friends in order to increase the number of alumni attendees at the conference
